Reel Maker is a video generation platform that automates the creation of reels for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. These Terms apply to all users, including those who access the Service on a free tier or paid subscription basis.

2. Description of Service

• Reddit post to video conversion
• Video generation with customizable presets and settings
• Subtitle and caption generation
• Video processing and rendering services
• Video storage and management

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use our Service, you must create an account using Google OAuth authentication. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information as necessary
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans and Credits

4.1 Free and Paid Tiers

Reel Maker offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Each tier includes:

• A specific credit allowance per billing cycle
• Access to video generation features
• Video storage and management capabilities

4.2 Credit System

Our Service operates on a credit-based system:

• Each video generation consumes credits as specified in your subscription plan
• Credits are allocated based on your subscription tier
• Unused credits may expire according to your subscription terms
• Credits cannot be transferred, refunded, or exchanged for cash

4.3 Subscription Changes

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Changes to your subscription will take effect as follows:

• Upgrades: Immediate access to higher tier features and credits
• Downgrades: Effective at the next billing cycle
• Cancellations: Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to:

• Provide valid payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees
• Pay all applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase

5.2 Billing and Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You will be charged the subscription fee on a recurring basis until you cancel. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in these Terms.

5.3 Refunds

Refunds are provided only in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us through the support section in your dashboard.

6. User Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload, submit, or create using our Service ("User Content"). By using our Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Use, store, and process your User Content to provide the Service
• Generate and store videos created from your User Content
• Perform necessary technical operations to deliver the Service

6.2 Content Restrictions

You agree not to submit, upload, or create content that:

• Violates any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Contains explicit sexual content, self-harm, or illegal instructions
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Is spam or unsolicited commercial content

6.3 Generated Videos

Videos generated through our Service are owned by you. However, you are responsible for ensuring that:

• You have all necessary rights to use any source material (e.g., Reddit posts, images, text)
• Your use of generated videos complies with all applicable laws and platform policies (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
• You respect third-party intellectual property rights

6.4 Service Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Reel Maker and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without our express written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
• Use the Service to generate content that violates platform policies (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
• Create content that is deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent

8. Service Availability and Modifications

While we strive to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Planned maintenance or updates
• Technical issues or failures
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service unavailability or modifications.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of generated content
• Warranties that generated videos will meet your specific requirements

We use third-party services (OpenAI, AWS, Stripe, Supabase) and are not responsible for their performance or availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REEL MAKER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Damages resulting from third-party services or content

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reel Maker, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your User Content or generated videos
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription (if applicable) and deleting your account through the account settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms or our policies
• Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities
• Fail to pay required fees
• Use the Service in a manner that could harm us or other users

13. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with and depends on various third-party services:

• Stripe: Payment processing
• Supabase: Authentication and database services
• AWS (S3, SQS): Cloud infrastructure and storage
• OpenAI: AI-powered content generation
• Google: OAuth authentication

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of third-party services.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation between the parties
• Mediation, if negotiation is unsuccessful
• Binding arbitration or litigation, as applicable under local law

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
